Liff, Walsh & Simmons is pleased to welcome Andre Habib and Kelly Callahan as Associate Attorneys to the growing firm.
Mr. Habib joined the firm in June 2021, joining the Business Law, Real Estate, and the Estate Planning & Administration practice groups. Andre assists the firm’s Business Law practice in areas focusing on mergers and acquisitions, negotiations, contract disputes, corporate finance and securities, and general corporate matters. Within the firm’s Real Estate practice, Andre supplies services in the areas of acquisition, development, leasing, and lending to represent buyers, sellers, and private and commercial lenders. Andre further counsels’ individuals and families to help develop custom estate plans, and business succession plans to address each client’s specific needs to help protect his client’s current and future assets.
Andre obtained his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2019 and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is a member of the Anne Arundel Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.
Ms. Callahan joined Liff, Walsh & Simmons in August of 2021, working with the Business Law, Commercial Finance, Real Estate, and Land Use and Zoning practice groups. Kelly assists in the firm’s diverse practice areas in matters involving general business counseling, business transaction negotiations, real estate and commercial property transactions, loans, and land use and zoning.
Kelly obtained her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Maryland Francis Carey School of Law and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Public Relations and Spanish, with honors, from Syracuse University. On December 14, 2021, Kelly took her oath to become a licensed attorney to practice law in the State of Maryland. She is fluent in Spanish.
