"I have built a diverse skillset in dispute resolution, client representation, and varied litigation strategies, and I now apply that skillset toward committed advocacy for the firm’s clients."

Sean Sapp is an associate attorney at the firm, where he is a member of the Litigation and Labor & Employment practice groups.

Prior to joining the firm, Sean served as an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Office of Special Counsel. In that role, he investigated and prosecuted violations of federal employment law, working as an independent investigator in matters involving agencies across the federal government. He worked closely with both federal employees and agency leadership to efficiently and effectively resolve complex disputes.

Sean graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama before pursuing a Master’s degree in History at the University of Notre Dame. He earned his Master’s degree in 2016, the same year he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Belgium, where he studied medieval confessors. His research also took him to the Vatican before ultimately shifting his focus to a career in law.

He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2023. While at Georgetown, Sean honed his litigation skills through internships with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Public Integrity Section and the Delaware Department of Justice. He also participated in mediations as part of the U.S. Office of Special Counsel’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Unit.

Sean is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C., and is in the process of joining the Maryland bar.
