Terrence C. Liff is a founder and Partner of Liff, Walsh & Simmons. Mr. Liff’s practice focuses on real estate and business transactions, business representation, as well as trust and estate-related matters. In addition to over 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney, Mr. Liff brings a unique perspective to lending transactions, having worked for over 20 years in the mortgage industry for several regional banking institutions. Mr. Liff’s clients include developers, contractors, local and regional financial institutions, as well as business owners. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Liff is an Executive Vice President of Eagle Title, the firm’s affiliated Title Company, overseeing both commercial and residential real estate transactions. Mr. Liff is a lifelong Maryland resident, having lived in Anne Arundel County for over 20 years. Mr. Liff graduated from St. John’s College High School in Washington, DC and subsequently obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland. After a successful career in the mortgage business, Mr. Liff obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Mr. Liff is active in the community, supporting many charitable organizations. He serves on the Cystic Fibrosis Annapolis Advisory Board to help raise funds to improve the quality of life for those with CF and ultimately find a cure. Additionally, Mr. Liff is a member of the James C. Cawood, Jr. American Inns of Court, an organization designed to improve the professionalism and ethics of members of the Bench and Bar.
