Job Title: Paralegal - Litigation

Preferred (But Not Required) Experience:
- College graduate or current student pursuing a degree in which legal studies, business, government or employment is a component of the degree.
- Prior work experience in a legal setting.
- A paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program.
Job Duties:
- Conduct in-depth legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation matters.
- Analyze and summarize legal information to assist attorneys in building strong case strategies.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Prepare and file court documents, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.
- Maintain organized and current electronic and physical case files from opening through the closing of files.
- Assist in preparing correspondence and communication related to litigation matters. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Apply analytical skills to identify and assist in resolving issues; proactively suggest appropriate solutions and recommendations to enhance final work
- Perform other special projects, paralegal duties and other related assignments.
Compensation Range:
- $52K ($25.00/hr) – $80K ($38.46/hr) base salary, commensurate with experience.
