Job Title: Paralegal - Residential Real Estate Transactions
Overview:
This role involves meaningful responsibility across non–realtor-assisted sales, private financing arrangements, deeds and conveyances, and recordings. We welcome candidates with prior real estate experience, but we are also open to motivated individuals without direct experience who demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound judgment, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys and be an integral part of a collaborative, high-volume practice.

Preferred (But Not Required) Experience:
- Prior experience as a real estate paralegal or legal assistant
- Experience with residential real estate documents, including contracts of sale, deeds, deeds of trust, or mortgage documents
- Experience with recordings and land records offices
- Paralegal certificate or relevant coursework
Job Duties:
- Assist with preparing residential contracts of sale, including transactions where buyers and sellers are not represented by real estate agents
- Assist with residential closings by preparing and organizing documentation, tracking timelines, and coordinating execution
- Support attorneys by ensuring transactions move forward efficiently, accurately, and predictably
- Assist with preparing private financing documents, including promissory notes, deeds of trust, and related ancillary documents, under attorney supervision
- Prepare deeds and conveyance documents, including individual, intra-family, LLC, and trust-related transfers
- Manage the recording of deeds and deeds of trust with applicable land records offices, including submission, tracking, and post-recording follow-up
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files, checklists, and transaction timelines in a high-volume practice area
- Communicate proactively with attorneys regarding matter status, deadlines, and outstanding items
- Serve as a professional and reassuring point of contact for clients on procedural matters
- Assist with client intake calls, scheduling, and general matter support
- Perform other paralegal duties and related assignments as needed
Compensation Range:
- $52K ($25.00/hr) – $80K ($38.46/hr) base salary, commensurate with experience.
