(Annapolis, MD, September 25, 2025) The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) announced that it will induct Jessica (Jesse) Walsh, Esq., into its Professional Advisor Recognition Society at its 25th annual Celebration of Philanthropy Award Luncheon on October 29, 2025.

CFAAC established the Professional Advisor Recognition Society to acknowledge professional advisors for their commitment to the community and their work to support philanthropy and encourage charitable giving across Anne Arundel County.

“We are delighted to honor Jesse for the many ways she strengthens philanthropy in our community,” said Mary Spencer, CFAAC President & CEO. “Through her partnership with the Community Foundation, she has been instrumental in helping donors turn their generosity into meaningful impact.”

Walsh is an associate attorney at Liff, Walsh & Simmons and member of the firm’s Estate Planning and Administration Practice Group, focusing on estate planning, estate administration, and end-of-life issues. Her guidance inspires her clients to support philanthropy in Anne Arundel County and beyond. Throughout her lifetime, Walsh has dedicated herself to serving her community through her work in the legal field, as an AmeriCorps teacher, and as a volunteer.

“I am humbled to accept this honor,” said Walsh. “I have many clients who want to include charitable giving as part of their estate planning, but they aren’t necessarily sure what organizations to select. CFAAC is such a great resource to direct them to — they have all of the institutional knowledge of nonprofits and community efforts, and can speak to the integrity of each organization. But the best part of the partnership is that I can simply name a fund in my client’s will or trust, and then they work with CFAAC at no cost to iron out all of the details.”

“There’s a popular saying that your ‘network is your net worth,’ and having CFAAC in my network substantially increases my value to my clients, because they know we work as a cohesive team to support their legacy goals,” added Walsh.

Walsh earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts (Boston), her Master of Public Health from Boston University, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar, the Anne Arundel Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland, and the Anne Arundel Estate Planning Council where she currently serves as vice president and will assume the role of president in 2026. In addition, Walsh volunteers on the Ethics Committee at Hospice of the Chesapeake and is part of the Flagship 2026 class of Leadership Anne Arundel where she is working on a volunteer project with the nonprofit, Charting Careers.”

Please plan to join CFAAC to honor Walsh and eight Celebration of Philanthropy Award recipients on Wednesday, October 29 at LIVE! Casino Hotel® Maryland. Tickets and more information are available at https://cfaac.org/Celebration-Philanthropy.
